Taking off from France on the 31st of December, to start the New Year in the air !
2nd January : checking in our hired car, driving until Tauranga where we will found our Sea Hawk, 100% kiwi kayaks waiting for us
3 and 4th January : finishing details on our kayaks, resin handwork on the way : fitting and adjusting our sits, nets under the deck, mast case…
5th January : 6 hours driving to Wellington, the most windy capital of the world.6th January : shopping, checking out our car, getting on the ferry to Picton on the South Island.
7th January : Food shopping at Picton, transport the whole lots, kayaks and shopping to Rarangi, 24 km further where we will start our long journey.
