Feast for our eyes

14th January :
We’re now equal with our small individual failures: one suffering strong tiredness has been town all afternoon , another needed 3 go to pass Kaikoura shore break, and the last watched his sail sinking before landing. We will need a stop at Christchurch to built a new one.
Two days ago, we though we were dreaming, watching hundred of seals as we paddle alongside low rocky shore then we went across a group of a hundred dolphins. Yesterday ended by a cloud of sterns fishing and today we’ve seen our first pingouins.

Only 10 Celsius degrees this morning. The climate is confusing, going from warm to cold as clouds and wind pass along. We are now able to sight Banks Peninsula that we should reach in 2 days. Tonight a Kahawai fish caught while paddling and mussels collected on our arrival.
